This is a full-time on-site role as a Truck Dispatcher at Truck Link. The Truck Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling the movement of trucks, ensuring timely delivery, and communicating with drivers and customers. The role requires excellent organizational and communication skills to effectively manage logistics operations and ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
Background and experience with US and Canada truck dispatch only will be preferred.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Good geographical knowledge and understanding of transportation logistics
Proficient in using transportation management systems and other relevant software
Attention to detail and strong time management skills
Ability to work well under pressure and make quick decisions
High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience in truck dispatching or logistics is preferred
